     Have you ever heard the song by the proclaimers titled "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)?" It was a pretty popular song a few years back and even made an appearance on the soundtrack to the movie "Benny & Joon." In the aforementioned song, the author sings about walking a total of 1000 miles to be with his beloved. I, without walking through an ocean, cannot walk 1000 miles to be with my beloved. I will have to settle for flying 10,000 miles to be with my beloved fiancé.

     My fiancé, Evangeline (Vangie) lives in southeastern Asia in the Philippine Islands. I live a stone's throw away from Washington DC in Reston, VA. The distance between us totals just about 10,000 miles give or take a few thousand miles. And, as you can imagine, life is pretty lonely without her. She has become one of the most important the driving force in my life. The only thing that is more important in my life than her, is my relationship with God.

Here is a brief explanation of each of the links that will help you navigate our website:
